Family or friends may not have the same skills or experience as professional photographer. They are also your wedding guest where they may not able to concentrate fully on taking photograph through out your wedding event.

Both videography & photography serve different need. Video is more to capture the flow of the event, while photos is capturing moments of the event. eg Video is telling the story & photos is the highlight of the story. As photo is capturing the highlight, the impact is greater.

Get to know your photographer. Sit down and discuss the flow of your wedding event with him. The closer you are with your photographer, the more comfortable youi'll be and will not feel awkward having someone taking your photos. Smile at him, have eye contact, flirt with him, be sporting .. This will enable him to capture a better you.
Allocate time !
Allocate time for your photographer to position himself at better angle to take a better picture. During you wedding march or toasting, take your time, give him some time as crowd may get in his way.
Discuss your itenary !
Predisuss your wedding itenary with him. Let your wedding coordinator hitelight any special happening so that your photographer can position himself at the right location during the time. |
